“Angeles Crest Christian Camp” in mountains between Palmdale & La Canada; great staff; offers 3rd – 6th grade winter camp, summer camp, & summer weekend camp, jr. high & high school camp, Father/Son retreat & Mother/Daughter retreat; also offers Science & Outdoor Education.
“Campus by the Sea” on Catalina Island off the coast of southern California; offers great summer family camps on the beach; also offers outdoor education; part of “InterVarsity”.
“Explore Camp” – by “Answers in Genesis” (AIG); “Explore summer camps provide a unique opportunity for students to dive deeper into their favorite science topics while developing their biblical worldview. “CRU” (formerly “Crusade for Christ”) – one-year internships to “help young people and graduates get into the world of ministry with Cru as part of teams helping build spiritual movements in the US and internationally”.
